Throughout the year classrooms get messy. The Echo presents tips for teachers to help keep their classrooms clean.
1. Checklist
• List important things you need to keep and things to get rid of
• Important papers
• Classroom supplies (pen, pencils, papers, markers etc.)
• Divide your room in sections to clean
2. Clean
• Get cleaning supplies
• Wipe down desks
• Throw away unfinished food
• Clean/clear board
3. Organize Piles
• Organize the room to where it’s easy to maneuver
• Set desks in rows or groups
• Reorder supplies
• Put small items in labeled cubbies
• Sort out papers
• Throw away useless things
• Organize classroom books and supplies
• Maintain tidy habits
