Nearly one-tenth of the world’s oil lies in Kuwait, resulting in the population to consist mostly of non-citizen expatriates, or temporary, workers.
Kuwait does have a wide range of international broadcasts and Internet. All media is subject to government censorship in the constitutional monarchy. Health care is nearly free. Public education is free and is segregated by gender.
