Cristofer Monterrubio, senior has always had a passion for creating art. Learning the different styles of art he’s always found it interesting how the influence of the mind and just picking up a pencil can create something beautiful, “my passion in art really just wanting to show a piece of my mind and imagination,” Monterrubio said. “Ever since first grade just, learning how to pick up a pencil and write I’ve always had the habit of drawing on the sides of my paper like little doodles.” What really got Monterrubio drawing is when teachers and others starting picking up that he could draw and they’d ask him if he could draw different things. He loves art not only beacuse you’re expressing yourself but because it’s something you appreciate so much more than just other things like sports etc. With art he gets to see others peoples imagination put on to paper.Karina Herrera
